The Iterator - Iterator of thoughts

Medicated depression, day #5

Had this sync/update meeting today with my manager, it was somewhat uplifting and we agreed on what to do towards other managers and customers, in regards of my well being.

The medication has flattened out the valleys and some of the peaks, but still on the introductory dosage, going up on full dose on Saturday and going to meet the doctor next Friday for evaluation and possible dose adjustment.

My manager urged me to seek other things to do, to disrupt bad thoughts and focus on other things not connected to computers or work-related things, but as my hobbies are programming and computers among other things .. it's kinda hard, but whatever I do privately is quite separated from what I do professionally.

My own plan is to use my bicycle more (more than zero) and go on long rides, with headphones on, music and audio books. Just spend hours going in some direction and then back, seeing the landscape slowly pass by. It would serve at minimal two purposes, the first would be clearing my mind of negative and destructive thoughts, the second would be burning calories and keeping up heart rate in the fat burn zone .. also improving all over health and stamina. This without impacting my bad knee.

I could also start using my inlines whenever I get my weight down, as I think I'm a little too big and heavy right now, son expressed a desire to go inline skating with me but didn't think I actually had a pair of skates. I do own a pair, size EU47/US13 .. though they might need new wheels.
