Medicated depression, day #191
Woke up early, before son but after wife, she had already left for work. Had coffee and a toast, just bread and cheese with son. Poured black coffee on my brain, now second cup and I'm falling in and out of sleep in front of the computer, narcolepsy-style.
[I took a 5 minute nap here]
Yeah, so that is happening. I have a doctors appointment later today but are also waiting for a plumber or handyman from the house maintenance company, to clear our kitchen sink as it appears to be clogged up, it was about 5 years ago we had it unclogged last.
Topic for the doctors appointment is "sick leave", either continue or go back to work, slowly ramping up, start out with 25%, like 2 hours per day for a few months to see how that works.
I become very tired when I'm forcing myself to focus, it works for about 20 minutes then brain is acting up by either narcoleptic behavior or that I need to go laying down for a while. Sometimes I can sit at the computer for about 2 hours before going to do something else or rest. Depends, haven't yet found the pattern, seems random.
[Fell asleep again]
I need to go lay down before going to doctors appointment.
Later: Came home from doctors appointment, first time meeting this particular doctor, nice person, circa 35 years old, middle eastern decent but were fluent in local tongue. Discussed how May-June-July sick leave had been and if I thought I could go back on 25%, two hours per day, I said that I thought I could do nothing for two hours before going home as they do not yet have any tasks or assignments for me, so just going to the office for social hangout, sure.
When I came home I was so tired that I went to lay down on bed listening to podcasts, fell asleep and slept for an hour.
Later: My lovely wife had bought summer shorts and shirts yesterday, today she went back to change to ones that were too small to size larger, tried them on this evening and they fit well. Now I got swim trunks and nice jeans shorts with 3/4 legs and flowery and bright red shirts.
Son is nagging me about sitting with him watching "How to catch a smuggler" on TV .. sure, interesting how smugglers operate.
