Bug squashing
I'm involved in some bug squashing at the moment, business critical stuff of course .. end-of-month processing halted due to empty lines in CSV files.
The original author of the code apparently just coded for happy-flow or always-sunshine .. never anticipated that any errors or malformed data would occur, also wrapping the code in try-catch so that ANY error that occur would just get thrown as a general exception with zero clues to what originally went wrong.
Super. Nice.
I'm so tired today, just wanna go home and sleep. I've sat several times with closed eyes almost dozing off, micro naps, coffee doesn't work today. It's hard to brain while tired.
